The My English Pathway LEVEL THREE PATHWAY COURSE is designed for adult English language learners who need to improve their ability to communicate orally and in writing in everyday, social, and professional situations in the learner’s own field. Therefore, students will improve their fluency in speaking and increase their listening comprehension of conversational interactions and extended discourse in a wide range of formal and informal situations, develop strategies to read and understand a wide range of texts, and to write formal and informal emails and letters, news articles, reports and cohesive and structured essays. Students will also develop their vocabulary and pronunciation skills. Classroom activities simulate authentic communicative tasks relevant to students’ lives. Students will learn the necessary language to ask and answer questions, carry out daily tasks, understand audio media, and participate in conversations and discussions about personal history and current topics. The LEVEL THREE PATHWAY COURSE will help students to develop strategies to extend their language learning outside of the classroom.
