Welcome to the My English Pathway LEVEL FIVE DIRECT ENTRY PATHWAY COURSE!

The My English Pathway LEVEL FIVE DIRECT ENTRY COURSE is designed for adult and adolescent English language learners who need to improve their ability to communicate orally and in writing in everyday, social, and professional situations.  Therefore, you will improve your fluency in speaking and increase your listening comprehension of conversational interactions and extended discourse in a wide range of formal and informal situations, develop strategies to read and understand a wide range of texts, and to write formal and informal emails and letters, news articles, reports and essays.  You will extend your vocabulary and grammar knowledge throughout the course to help you meet the English language entry requirements at James Cook University.

Thursday Arvo Sesh! (Thursday Afternoon Sessions)

Every Thursday afternoon during term times, Kit Perry will host a free extra language lesson for all students in all levels to attend. This extra lesson is not compulsory, but if you want a bit more practice in a non-formal environment that’s fun and engaging, please join in when you can.

My Teacher

Kit Perry

My name is Kit Perry and I am your teacher for the Level Four Direct Entry Pathway Course this term. I have been a teacher for 20 years now and I absolutely love my job. I have taught English to thousands of students from all corners of the world, and I am very passionate about helping my students achieve their best.

I have a beautiful wife (Yvette) and two beautiful children (Xavier and Florence). My dog’s name is Shep, and my green 40 Series Toyota Landcruiser is called Frank. I enjoy listening to and playing music, watching, playing and coaching football (Soccer), travelling and spending time with my family.
